I recently visited for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by the staff, the atmosphere, and the food. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The service, especially from our server, Ms. Patty, was exceptional, even as she managed multiple tables effortlessly. This place has become my top choice whenever I'm on this side of town.
This is one of our favorite places to eat in SA. The food is always good and fresh and the service is spectacular. Sure you'll see a few 1s but that happens anywhere. Some may be legit but then again you'll see a lot of Karens comment. Especially R. R. A who of course is anonymous, who refused a credit and demanded the manager tour the kitchen and report back. Who do some people think they are? Anyway you won't have to worry about seeing R. R. A here which is probably a blessing. Your meal will be great and the prices are incredibly affordable. Ask for Pedro or anyone else who waits on you here. They all are phenomenal. P. S. Download the app. My wife and I ate with one large margarita for under 25 for dinner. Combined with previous activity our next meal will be 6 off.
It was my first visit to Las Palapas. I had a great time with Kristen's attention. She is attentive to you and your needs. The food was exactly what we wanted. My boyfriend and I had a great time, and the cucumber margarita was incredible!

Keith greeted us, gave us an option of a booth with sun or shade, and explained all of the happy hour specials to us promptly! He was very friendly and very helpful and made our experience one to remember. Keith was an absolute ray of sunshine and the food was incredible! Best las palapas in the city! The fish tacos and margarita are why we come, and Keith is why we stayed! Everything was very clean and welcoming and the food was out in minutes. Even the complimentary chips and salsa were made fresh in seconds!

This is the best Las Palapas in San Antonio. The food is always delicious. The puffy tacos are crispy, topped with lettuce and tomatoes make this my all time favorite On Friday nights there are live performances to listen to as you dine. The best waitress of all is Paty. In addition to being beautiful, she keeps your drinks topped off and she always brings fresh chips and some of the wonderful salsa. We always ask for her and have never been disappointed and neither will you.
Sunday brunch/lunch out with family. Their street tacos were so delicious. My son recommended them after we tried them at another frequented restaurant. I highly recommend trying these tender delicious morsels of grilled meat tacos. Update: I’m having brunch with family which is our usual routine. The food here is consistently good as is the service. We had a new waitstaff person today, Kirsten, who was very friendly, helpful and personable. I highly recommend this restaurant and the food.
